Jasmine Rice
Fluffy and fragrant long-grain rice boiled and gently steamed on the stovetop. Perfectly light and tender for pairing with curries and stir-fries.
Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice, rinsed
- 2.5 cups water
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt

Place 2 cups rinsed jasmine rice in a fine-mesh strainer and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear.

Combine 2 cups rinsed jasmine rice, 2.5 cups water, and 1/2 tsp fine sea salt in a medium saucepan.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.

Reduce heat to low, cover tightly with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove saucepan from heat and let rest covered for 5 minutes.

Fluff 2 cups rinsed jasmine rice with a fork before serving.
