  • 6 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 lb cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup lilikoi puree (passion fruit, fresh or frozen)

  • pinch salt
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 0.5 cup lilikoi puree (for glaze)

Preheat oven to 325°F. Combine 2 cups graham cracker crumbs with 6 tbsp melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

  2. 2

Bake crust for 8 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

Beat 1 lb cream cheese (softened) until smooth and creamy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and mix until well combined.

  4. 4

Add 4 eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in 0.5 cup sour cream, 1 cup lilikoi puree (passion fruit, fresh or frozen), 1 tsp vanilla extract, and pinch salt.

  6. 6

Pour filling onto the crust and smooth the top.

  8. 8

Remove from oven and cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  9. 9

For the glaze, whisk 0.5 cup powdered sugar (for glaze) with 0.5 cup lilikoi puree until smooth. Drizzle over the chilled cheesecake before serving.

Questions

Can I make Lilikoi Cheesecake dairy-free?

Not cleanly. Here the dairy (6 tbsp butter (melted), 1 lb cream cheese (softened), 0.5 cup sour cream) is the backbone of the dish, and plant-based substitutes change both its texture and its flavor. If you need strictly dairy-free, start from the dairy-free dessert collection instead.

Can I make Lilikoi Cheesecake gluten-free?

Yes. The gluten in this entry is 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Swap the bread or crumbs for a gluten-free loaf or gluten-free panko. Everything else proceeds as written.

How long does Lilikoi Cheesecake keep?

Store it airtight: two to three days at room temperature or up to a week refrigerated. It freezes for up to two months; thaw at room temperature.

Can I halve or double Lilikoi Cheesecake?

Yes. As written it serves 8. Every ingredient in this entry carries precomputed half and double quantities, and the app's batch dial rewrites them inside each step. Doubled, split it across two pans and rotate them halfway; one crowded pan bakes unevenly.
