Blackened Alligator Salad
Tender cubed alligator tail seared with bold blackening spices, served over crisp salad greens with a zesty remoulade dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 lb alligator tail meat, cubed
- 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup remoulade dressing

Toss 1 lb cubed alligator tail meat with 2 tbsp blackening seasoning in a bowl until evenly coated.

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear 1 lb cubed alligator tail meat for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 160°F.

Arrange 6 cups mixed salad greens, 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes, and 1 cup sliced cucumber in a large serving bowl.
